Spear of Cinder – Megiddo

The three Megiddo spears were commissioned by the archdevil Zariel for her three strongest champions. Carved from the tails of three red dracolichs by the mad efreeti Yakhun in the Elemental Plane of Ash, these spears possess a strong attunement to the plane. They were wielded for thousands of years in the Blood War, and slew uncountable hordes of demons.

Flint & Steel

These pairs of blades were standard issue equipment for officers of the Inquisition when they launched their campaign through the Brastoe Wildlands. Fire was the most effective way to deal with the awakened plant-life both native to the area and controlled by the wild elves that lived there. The popularity of the pair of swords lasted beyond this particular campaign, and the “burning blades” eventually became a symbol of the Inquisition.

Beartrap Flail – Jaws of Dimclaw

The Beartrap Flail is a martial weapon that lets you pull enemies closer to you. Think Scorpion from Mortal Kombat and you aren’t too far off. I always like to provide a little lore for the items I create, even if they are something that might not necessarily be unique within a world.

Rogue Archetype – The Gambler

Introducing the Gambler Rogue, another subclass/archetype for you to play around with in your games. Masters at manipulating the odds and making money, they make great friends, or purse-emptying enemies. Far more dastardly than your common pickpocket, they’ll rob you blind and have you thinking it was fun.

Heavyweight Potion

An example of the dangers of housing a brewery underneath an alchemist’s workshop, the heavyweight potion is the result of a batch of dwarven stout ale that was contaminated by an upstairs neighbor’s spilt cauldron. While the consistency leaves much to be desired, the potion actually has a rather pleasant, malty flavor that finishes very smooth.
