Two more Spectrumite options for magic users in your campaign (check the bottom of the post for links to others).
General Notes
Spectrumite are crystallizations of the memories and experiences of individuals with particularly resilient souls. A creature may bond with a piece of Spectrumite to access a small degree of that experience. These items do not require attunement, but a creature may only bond with one Spectrumite at a time. The ritual to bond or unbond to a Spectrumite takes an hour. The unbonding ritual in particular is quite taxing, resulting in 2 levels of exhaustion upon completion.
Spectrumite of the Black Mage
This crystal holds the experiences of a young and bashful magical prodigy. While bonded with this Spectrumite you occasionally find yourself searching for a greater meaning behind your actions and the actions of others.
Leyline – While bonded with this spectrumite, you may use a bonus action to conjure a magical glyph covering a 10 foot square at your feet that taps into the strong magical energies of the earth beneath you. While standing on this glyph any damage or healing die you roll as part of a spell increase in size by one step (d4 become d6, d6 become d8, etc), up to a maximum size of d12.
The glyph remains for up to an hour so long as you remain within its area, but will disappear immediately if you step off of it. You regain use of this ability following a short rest.
Spectrumite of the White Mage
This crystal holds the experiences of a young and selfless cleric loved by all. She was killed in a magical explosion while providing aid to wounded soldiers on the battlefield, and, as the rumors go, ended the conflict with her death. While bonded with this Spectrumite you occasionally find yourself offering unsolicited aid to complete strangers.
Blessing of Generosity – While bonded with this Spectrumite, whenever you cast a spell that restores Hit Points to a creature, you may also choose to give that creature the effects of the Sanctuary spell. If the spell effects more than one creature, you may only choose one as the target of this feature.
You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1), and regain any spent uses after completing a long rest.
