Ghoul’s Feast

Today’s consumable is a bit more niche, but undead are pretty popular enough enemy type that you should be able to find a use for this at some point in your campaign. If your setting is filled with some other type of creature, Beasts or Fiends perhaps, it is easy to reflavor this to function for different types of creatures as well.

This item is intended to work mostly on mindless undead that you might put in the fodder category, like zombies, skeletons, or standard ghouls. If you’d like to extend the effects to stronger creatures, consider adding a saving throw (probably Wisdom) for them.

wondrous item, uncommon

This clay pot is stuff full of festering flesh and is magically reinforced. Even while sealed it gives off an unpleasant odor that is hard to mask. Within is a veritable smorgasbord for the ravenous undead. Consumption by the living however, is not recommended.
The pot has an AC of 13 and 20 hit points. You may take the Use an Object action to crack the seal on the pot, causing the strong odor within to be released.
Any undead creature with an Intelligence score less than 10 that starts its turn within 30 feet of the open pot, or enters that range for the first time on its turn, becomes unable to resist its smell. They may only use their movement to move closer to the pot, and may only use their action to make attacks against the pot.
Any non-undead creature that begins its turn within 30 feet of the pot, or enters that range for the first time on its turn must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become poisoned until the end of their next turn. If they fail this save while already poisoned, they also become Incapacitated and have their movement reduced to 0 until the end of their turn.
The smell dissipates after 10 minutes, or when the pot is destroyed. As soon as the smell dissipates, its effects on any undead immediately end.
